R O Financial Group is a 100% Energy Star Partner.  Our first Chicago built homes located in the Englewood Community  at 630 and 632 West Englewood Avenue, received both the Greenbuilt designation from the City of Chicago and the highest rating, 5+ Stars, from Energy Star.   Every property we build is guaranteed to be nationally certified through the EPA, to achieve a minimum energy performance improvement of 30% whole house and a 50% improvement on the cost of heating and cooling.

We build savings and efficiency into the design before the blueprint stage.  All energy components are cost effectively chosen to yield a savings for our home owners’ investment.  Throughout construction, our homes are physically inspected and tested, by the certified independent third party HERS rater, Energy Diagnostics.  State of the art testing equipment is used on each home, such as infrared cameras, duct blasters and blower door tests, to insure that maximum specifications are met.

R O Financial is in an elite group of national companies offering this label to its customers, as only 3% of new residential construction has earned this Energy Star designation.  This certification enables us to pass the energy savings on to our new homeowners.   An Energy Star certified home reduces carbon dioxide emissions by an average of 10,137 pounds per year.  

This is equivalent to taking one car’s annual pollution out of the atmosphere for every two Energy Star certified homes.  Thus, our motto:  Building Green, Living Green, $aving Green.
